About Us

Who We Are

Goldfields Image Makers camera club was formed in November 1999 and is based in Maryborough, Victoria, Australia. Our club aims to provide all photographers with a place to socialise and practice their photography in a friendly atmosphere.

What We Do

Since 1999, Goldfields Image Makers has given local photographers the chance to come together, share their knowledge and explore all aspects of photography.

Photo Editing

We help members organise, edit and share their photos using the latest computer software programs available.

Photography Tips and Tutorials

Experienced members provide instruction and demonstration of Composition, Exposure, Shutter Speed, ISO, Lenses, Lighting, Depth of field, Light metering, Landscape photography, Portrait photography, Macro photography, Nature photography and Night photography.

Photo Competitions

Our club conducts regular competitions and we encourage members to submit their photos. Through participation members learn quickly and improve their photographic techniques.

Guest Speakers

We invite accomplished photographers to conduct presentations and answer questions.

Photographic Outings and Trips Away

Our club schedules day outings and weekend trips to scenic destinations throughout the year.

Where We Meet

We hold meetings in Room 7 Community Center, Havilah on Palmerston, first Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm. If you enjoy photography and would like to learn more about your camera, attend one of our meetings or contact us.
