January meeting at Tullaroop Reservoir
On Wednesday January 4th 18 club members had a very enjoyable social gathering at the Tullaroop reservoir, for a picnic tea, being the first event of the New Year.
While the breeze was a little cool later in the night, members had a chance to talk to each other to tell about their Christmas experiences and day trips to various places, while having a nice social drink, and a lovely meal, together in good company.
Jenni, as usual, did a great job in preparing the salads and cold meats, as she did on a previous Club picnic. While a few members bought their cameras, there weren’t a lot of photos taken, as the surrounds didn’t really lend themselves to creative photography, which a number of members seem to be interested in these days. These type of social outings are a great opportunity to get to know other Club Members in a relaxed and informal environment, and at the same time to listen to other people’s experiences and thoughts on our common interest - photography.
Later in the year in our program we will be having a picnic/BBQ at Hanging Rock – should be a great outing.
